About The Glass Piggy

The Glass Piggy exists for a simple reason: financial literacy is one of the most important life skills, yet it’s rarely prioritized.

I’m a Dad who’s made mistakes, learned the hard way, and seen how bad money habits can snowball. By the time most people start paying attention to money, they’re already trying to undo years of confusion and bad advice.

This site isn’t here to sell products or chase financial trends. It’s here to explain money the way it actually shows up in real life: paychecks, saving, spending, credit, investing, and the everyday choices that shape how secure or stressed we feel.

For kids, that means learning the basics before bad habits take root.
For teens and young adults, it’s navigating first jobs, paychecks, and real financial decisions with more confidence.
For parents, it’s teaching money without feeling overwhelmed.

I’m not a bank or a financial influencer. I just believe money should be taught early and done right. If you’re here to learn, teach, or feel a little more confident about money than you did yesterday, you’re in the right place.

Most people were never taught how money actually works. They learned through mistakes, stress, and trial and error. Saving felt confusing. Credit felt risky. Investing felt intimidating or out of reach.

The Glass Piggy was created to change that.
